I’m pretty sure that Hasbro is making the toys for nearly every big movie this summer (okay, not Star Trek or Terminator Salvation). Between Wolverine, Transformers, and GI Joe, they could stand to make a pile of money. Gosh, I hope none of these movie suck.

Christian Bale is John Connor in the new Terminator film, set in the future, after Judgement Day. Go see this film. Just don’t walk through Bale’s eyeline. I hear he hates that.

Star Trek in theaters May 8th

He’s the best at what he does…

Come hang out with The Comic Bug gang at Pacific Theaters, Friday May 1st as we spread the word on where it all came from. That’s right, baby! Hulk #181 and millions of X-Men comics and appearances later, Wolverine is finally getting his very own movie (if you don’t count appearances from Deadpool, Gambit, Storm and Cyclops). We’ll be hanging with the main man, Wolverine himself, so bring a camera!

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer opens June 15th

More comic movies opens this year and this time it’s the sequel to the Fantastic Four movie which came out a few years ago. Actually this could be the last of a trilogy if you count the unreleased Fantastic Four movie with really bad acting, really bad special effects and a really bad story, which is available at The Comic Bug in DVD if you haven’t seen it!

Why does Silver Surfer have phasing abilities? Did he absorb Kitty Pryde? Do we see Galactus? or Guh lak tus? Do we see more of Jessica Alba? or less? hopefully!

The Comic Bug will have lots of Fantastic Four merchandise for all the fans, t-shirts, action figures and comics.

Frank Miller’s 300 will open in theatres on March 9th

The follow up to Frank Miller’s Sin City is the epic 300. This will be the gritty, violent and great comic book movie this year! Take a look at the trailer and get ready!

The Comic Bug has copies of the 300 hardcover and also the Art of 300 hardcover that gives plenty of details of what it took to make the movie.
